With its increased flow capacity and extended filter surface, the Rainwater NW 25 provides excellent pre-filtration for the main water inlets of hotels, restaurants, schools and commercial buildings. Designed with European (Belgian) engineering, this premium sediment filter protects your plumbing and industrial process lines from sand, rust and particles, keeping your purification systems performing at their peak.
Allowing 5.5 cubic metres (m³) of water through per hour, it provides uninterrupted service in multi-user buildings and commercial businesses without reducing water pressure.
Its 450 cm² filter area delays clogging even with water carrying a heavy particle load, giving your business less maintenance and long-term stability.
The special water flow design uses centrifugal force to settle heavy particles at the bottom of the filter housing. This lightens the load on the filter and maximises its service life.
With a maximum operating pressure tolerance of up to 16 bar, it forms a superior safety shield against mains pressure fluctuations.

Pressure loss (bar) by flow rate; shows how much pressure loss the filter causes at each flow rate.

The bowl and filter element can be removed for easy cleaning or replacement.

Sand, mud, rust and sediment carried in mains, well or rain water wear out plumbing, pumps and the purification equipment downstream. The NW 25 is a sediment pre-filter fitted at the water inlet that mechanically traps these solid particles.
Building inlets, hotels, restaurants and industrial lines. With a 3/4” or 1” connection, it provides an average flow rate of 5.5 m³/h.
As water passes through the filter element, the 25-micron pores let the water through and trap larger particles; this is an entirely physical, not chemical, straining process. The multi-layer filter structure holds dirt better even under heavy sediment loads, and the large filtration surface provides high flow and low pressure loss.
On its own, a sediment filter does not remove dissolved chemicals such as chlorine, or microorganisms; for that, it is used as a pre-filter ahead of softening, activated carbon, reverse osmosis and UV systems, protecting them.
It is installed on the water inlet line. The filter element can be cleaned or replaced; you can tell the filter is full when the pressure difference increases and the flow drops. The product is covered by a 2+8-year warranty.

It mechanically traps solid particles in the water such as sand, mud, rust and sediment, protecting the plumbing and downstream purification equipment.
No. A sediment filter only traps solid particles; chlorine requires activated carbon, and microorganisms require UV or reverse osmosis.
With a 3/4” or 1” connection, it provides an average flow rate of 5.5 m³/h.
As the filter fills up, the pressure difference between inlet and outlet increases and the flow drops; this indicates that it is time for cleaning or replacement.
It is covered by a 2+8-year warranty.
