Well, rain or tank water may carry a risk of bacteria and viruses; mains water can also become contaminated in building plumbing and storage tanks. The Rainwater TRIO UV 6100 is a system that sterilises water with UV-C light without using chemicals; it does not change the taste or odour of the water and does not create by-products.
Who is the Rainwater TRIO UV 6100 for?
For apartment buildings and housing estates, hotels, restaurants, cafés, social and sports facilities, agricultural and livestock applications, and places that use rainwater and well water. It sterilises up to 3.5 m³ of water per hour (at a dose of 25 mJ/cm²).
How does it work?
Water passes through a treatment chamber containing a 60 W amalgam UV lamp; UV-C light inactivates microorganisms by preventing them from multiplying. The TRIO system combines three processes in a single integrated system: mechanical filters trap sand, sediment, rust and suspended matter, activated carbon pre-filtration takes place, and then the UV-C unit inactivates any remaining bacteria and viruses without using chemicals.

Installation and maintenance
It is installed on the water inlet line. The UV lamp is replaced once a year and the quartz sleeve every 5 years on average. For maintenance, you can submit a request via the technical service form.
