Well water, rainwater or stored water may carry a risk of bacteria and viruses; mains water can also become contaminated in building plumbing and storage tanks. Rainwater UV 2000 is a system that sterilises water with UV-C light without using chemicals; it does not change the taste or odour of the water and creates no by-products.
Who is Rainwater UV 2000 suitable for?
For apartment buildings and housing complexes, hotels, restaurants, cafés, social and sports facilities, agricultural and livestock applications, and sites using rainwater or well water. It sterilises up to 1.5 m³ of water per hour (at a dose of 25 mJ/cm²).
How does it work?
The water passes through a treatment chamber containing a 25 W UV lamp; UV-C light inactivates microorganisms by preventing them from multiplying. The UV unit is installed on its own; for best results, it should be preceded by a mechanical and activated carbon pre-filter, because suspended particles prevent UV light from penetrating the water.

Installation and maintenance
