The mains water first comes to the pre-filter with a pore size of 5 microns. The task of this high-tech filter is to remove coarse impurities in the water, i.e. sediments such as dust, sand, algae, insects, etc. down to 5 microns. Over 5 microns in size, some microorganisms, dissolved chemicals and minerals can still be found in the water, which is thoroughly clarified by the sediment filter, where suspended particles and bacteria are retained in the water.
Water flows into the block carbon filter. The purpose of the block carbon filter is to remove organic substances that cause bad taste, odor, and discoloration, as well as chlorine and any gaseous odors in the water. This process ensures that the water becomes more flavorful, clear, and odor-free. By filtering water that has already been processed by the sediment filter at 5 microns down to 1 micron precision, it provides advanced filtration.
Partially purified water reaches the core of the system—the hyper filtration cartridge. This process relies on a semi-permeable membrane that operates under a minimum pressure of 2.5 atmospheres, with pore sizes ranging from 8 to 10 angstroms. These microscopic pores, measured at a fraction of a millimeter, effectively block heavy metals such as lead, mercury, nitrate, arsenic, and copper, as well as bacteria, limescale, and other chemical contaminants. Hyper filtration allows only water molecules and beneficial anions and cations essential for human health to pass through while preventing dissolved chemicals, microorganisms, and harmful minerals from entering. The result is truly pure and healthy drinking water. The system has a daily water yield of approximately 350 liters, with the purified water stored in a 12-liter stainless steel tank.
After leaving the tank, the water passes through a final carbon filter to enhance its taste before reaching the faucet. This filter removes any remaining odor-causing substances and prevents the formation of microorganisms. As a result, the water undergoes a final refinement process, ensuring a fresh, pure, and pleasant taste. In the last stage, the purified water flows to the faucet, making Rainwater's healthy and refreshing water ready for safe consumption.
