What is pH? Do you know the pH values of the foods you consume?
The abbreviation pH stands for "power of Hydrogen", which means "power of hydrogen". pH is a scale that can take values from 0 to 14, is a measure of the density of hydrogen ions in 1 litre of a solution and indicates the degree of acidity or alkalinity of solutions.
At the same time, 7 pH, which is the pH of pure water, is considered neutral. Solutions with a pH lower than 7 are acidic and solutions with a pH higher than 7 are basic, i.e. alkaline.
